Living With a New “Normal”

The global pandemic that spread rapidly around the world at the end of 2019 has had a major impact on everyone’s life. Originally viewed as a short-term inconvenience, it soon became a long-term disaster. Now well into 2022, new variants of the virus still appear, with numbers of infections and death rates fluctuating worldwide though much lower than during the height of the pandemic. After more than two years of developments in the way COVID-19 has changed our views of travel, it remains to be seen what the accepted “new normal” will be.
