Standalone Tools

Houdini ships with more than just the Houdini program. There are dozens of other useful applications that come standard. This chapter looks at some of them, and explains some useful tips for getting more out of them.

What Have I Got?

To see the full list of application programs that ship with Houdini, look in $HFS/bin. Here is the list for Houdini 9, as of version 9.0.535:
