2.1  Using Mach–Zehnder Interferometers for Recording Focused Image Holograms on Photographic Films

Note that a Mach–Zehnder interferometer (see Figure 1.1) can be successfully used as the basic setup for designing an optical system recording holograms with low spatial carrier frequencies, so called Mach–Zehnder holograms.
