Reaching a Consensus on Fit
Before making a final decision on the successful candidate, the hiring manager needs to hear all the feedback from all the other interviewers about each candidate.
Discussion Pointers after Interviewing
Your discussion of the candidates, based on the assessments recorded for the fundamental and complementary traits in Tables 3.1 and 3.3, and on any red flags you noted, should address the following questions:
- What red flags did the interviews uncover?
- Did interviewers receive contradictory information that they failed to clarify in the interview? (For example, did a candidate say one thing but express another with body language?)
