One of Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People¹ is “Begin with the end in mind.” This is great advice whenever doing any type of project work or planning, especially when it comes to implementing a new hiring process like Performance-based Hiring. In fact, I'd urge you to read the book since many of Covey's “7 Habits” are the core competencies the people you'll be hiring should possess, regardless of the role.
