A Few HD Connections

There are quite a few HD connections that are in use. These are several of the more popular ones.

FireWire

FireWire, although technically not an HD connection, has been around for quite a while; FireWire was originally used for DV input and output. With the advent of HDV, the incredible format of HD, and a bitrate equal to that of DV, FireWire has now been put into double duty, being used as a DV conduit and an HDV input/output pipeline.
