Camera supports
Tripods and tripod heads should be chosen in much the same way as you would for a film camera. This means that for a Sony HDW F900 you should have the quality and strength you would use for a 35mm camera and for the Sony HDW 700 range or a Panasonic HDC 20A you could go down to the slightly lighter equipment you might use for a fully equipped Arri SR3. Unless we are going to be taking the kit into difficult locations, my preference is to always go for the 35mm type supports, as they are usually much more robust and generally nicer to use.
