Professor Kudyba’s new book, Health Informatics: Improving Efficiency through Technology, Analytics, and Management, provides a thorough and comprehensive review of the state of healthcare information technology and its application at present. The book also makes clear, however, that many complex issues remain to be addressed if we are to realize the full potential of digitizing health information.
