Reflect on Your Actions and Choices

Being more strategic doesn’t mean making choices that affect the whole organization or allocating scarce budget dollars. It requires only that you put even the smallest decisions in the context of the organization’s broader goals. Nurturing a relationship that could provide unique insight into a supplier, a customer, or a competitor is highly strategic. Everyone has an opportunity to think more strategically.
