Sketch wireframes

This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to create wireframes; all you need is a pen, marker, or pencil, and paper:

We have already discussed sketching in Chapter 2, UX Design Process, so you should already have a basic idea of it, but when it comes to wireframes, I would not recommend sketching with pen and paper as the final result for your wireframes. If you want to use sketch wireframes, buy special tools for this type.

It is always a great idea to start your wireframes with pen and paper so that you will get an idea of how your wireframes will look, and then you can move on to wireframing tools, such as Balsamiq, ...
