Script Task
The Script Task lets you write your own code to extend the package functionality and get the job done. The ability to use your own code is provided by the Script task in Control Flow and by the Script component in Data Flow. To provide an IDE, the Script task and the Script component uses Visual Studio for Applications (VSA).
Using VSA, you can write scripts with Visual Basic 2005. This is the only supported language in the current release of SSIS, which means you cannot use other .NET languages such as C# or J#.
