The UHF band sits in the 300 MHz to 3 GHz range with wavelengths of 1 m to 10 cm. UHF is arguably the most important frequency band for modern communications. Applications using this band include television, GPS, pagers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GSM and LTE cellular communications.
As antenna size is dependent on wavelength, antennas used for UHF television reception are smaller than ones used for VHF (outlined in the following screenshot):
