Applications of Pinch Analysis in the Design of Isolated Energy Systems
Santanu Bandyopadhyay, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India
Abstract:
This chapter extends the applicability of Pinch Analysis to the design of isolated energy systems. Isolated energy systems serve the energy need of a location by converting nearby primary energy sources, and such systems are independent of the nationwide energy supply chain. The concept is illustrated with various applications.
