The electronic press kit (EPK) is a significant component of the marketing and promotional campaigns of your feature film projects. In addition to their role in media relations, EPKs also play a role in the success of film festival applications and, in some measure, can determine which films ultimately win awards.
Essentially, an EPK is an electronic file (typically in PDF form) that contains the important marketing and promotional details of the film, the film’s cast and crew and URLs or “hotlinks” to additional supporting information such as photographs, key art, trailers, film clips, video interviews, press releases, past media coverage and similar files.
