Methodology for Research Cited in Chapter 1
To conduct research for this book, Jason Denner of the consulting group POINT380 developed a pair trade analysis methodology that enabled us to compare the stock market performance of publicly traded Green Giants (IKEA is the only privately held Green Giant company) to a set of comparison companies between the close of trading on June 29, 2010 to March 2, 2015 (beginning with the first trading day after Tesla's IPO, the most recently listed Green Giant).
