The Controls and Usage of the 2182 kHz Watch Receiver
| ON/OFF | switch may be combined with the Volume (Gain) control. |
| Lamp | illuminated when equipment switched ON. |
| MUTE | prevents background noise, static, etc when ON. |
| TEST | simulates reception of Radiotelephone Alarm signal. |
| RESET | resets receiver to watchkeeping mode with MUTE on RESET |
| USAGE | receiver is tuned to 2182 kHz, normally with MUTE on. The receiver is activated and its gain will automatically increase, when the Radiotelephone Alarm signal is received. |
