Capstone: Global Business Challenges

In General

This chapter discusses the elements of today’s global corporation that are central to the enterprise of the 21st century: What are these elements, why are they important, why do they constantly change, how do they function within the corporate framework, and what are the challenges they present? In this chapter, which assumes an understanding of the previous parts of this book, we attempt to answer these questions and connect them with notions, such as corporate culture, philosophy, ethics, governance, technology, and so on. At the end, guidelines on preparation of any corporate governance document and concerns about the employee of the global corporation are addressed.
