Creating your first wiki page
GitLab offers a nice way to keep information and knowledge for a project in the project. You can use the well-known format of a wiki for this. In this recipe, we will take a look at how to create wiki pages in GitLab from the web interface.
How to do it…
In the following steps, we will create a wiki page:
- Log in to your GitLab instance.
- Go to the project for which you want to create a wiki.
- Click on the Wiki menu item.
- Click on the New Page button.
- In the pop up, enter the name of the page; you can't use spaces in the name. Let's pick the name awesome-wiki.
