One thing that is critical to any future is education. You cannot skip schooling of some kind. You cannot bypass higher education and expect to become a real success. Statistically, very few people who lack a formal education become very successful. The self-made man is a Hollywood trope based on a few industrious people from the last turn of the century.

In order to create the perfect platform from which to launch yourself, you need the foundation that only a good education can provide. I cannot be more clear. Did I mention getting an education is really, really important? You may hear this message a few more times in this chapter.

In this chapter, I talk about the forms of education that you can get, the time you will need to commit, and the skills they can give you. I strongly suggest that you don't skip this chapter.

Learning Your Way to Success

A solid education, no matter what type, is a powerful tool that you will use for the rest of your life. Self-education is an excellent skill to expand your personal horizons, but nothing beats a formal education.
