A Short Guide to Reverse Mentoring
Because reverse mentoring is new for 86 percent of organizations, we’ve put together a short guide that you can use to build awareness and interest in your own reverse mentoring program.
What is reverse mentoring? Reverse mentoring is a learning relationship between a mentor who is young and exceptionally literate in a new aspect of technology or social behavior and a protégé who has more life experience but is not as familiar with a new technology or social behavior.
Who uses reverse mentoring? While only 14 percent of companies have a reverse mentoring program in place, there are some fairly prominent players among them, including GE, The Hartford, Ogilvy & Mather, HP, and Cisco.
