Preface
Over the past 20 years, I was quite lucky to be offered various opportunities of being trained and coached by a dozen international experts who were renowned in the field of leadership development. What impressed me strongly was that leadership models of these experts differed from each other greatly in terms of objective, perspective, process and effect.
My interest in finding the linkage between varieties of leadership models was generated due to the motivation and encouragement from some of these experts. Then my work aimed at integrating different components of leadership in a new framework which continued for three years until the mode of gear-shifting leadership was successfully developed.
