Review of Hydrodynamic Theory

Abstract

This chapter presents the fundamentals of hydrodynamic theory. The theories are helpful to understand other concepts in the book, such as hydrodynamics of the horizontal axis turbines, tidal lagoons, tidal modelling, and wave energy. The chapter provides a brief overview; more detailed references are provided for further reading.
