How to Assess Your Organization’s Energy
Throughout the book, we’ve discussed the importance of objectively assessing your company’s energy state so that you have a solid insight to define leadership activities that boost your organization’s performance. Often, the best way to make this assessment is through a standard survey of the parties involved. For work with organizations, we have extensively used the Organizational Energy Questionnaire 12 (OEQ 12), a short, standardized survey instrument that consists of twelve self-assessment questions. We have found that these self-assessments gave us an unbiased, accurate snapshot of the four energy states in an organization.
