From Vision to Decision

Preface

As I was completing the final chapter of this book, I came across a new (to me) personal assessment that claimed my “primary core value energy” is wisdom. In this case, wisdom is the ability to see the way things are and be able to discern what to do about it. To translate this definition of wisdom into my own terms, wisdom is the ability to honestly evaluate one’s current reality and develop a creative strategy to move that reality closer to one’s vision.

My secondary core value energy is love. In this sense, love is working toward an inspired vision of what can be by nurturing the core values in others.

I was struck by how my efforts to write this book have unconsciously demonstrated these innate, core-value energies of my life.
