Always remember that, in oral presentations, voice is the most important factor. No amount of gestures, slides, or even brilliant content can compensate for a poor voice. This is what the inexperienced speaker should concentrate on most of all. If your voice is interesting, varied, and appropriately animated, people will stay engaged. If it is dull, monotone, and flat, their attention will quickly wander.
