Working with the Gnome Control Center
The Gnome Control Center is the equivalent of the Windows Control Panel. From here, you can control almost every aspect of Gnome's behavior. To access the Gnome Control Center, click the toolbox icon on the lower panel. Figure 6.11 shows the Gnome Control Center.

Like the File Manager, it uses a tree view on the left side, with the various options grouped under the relevant heading. Click any option in the left side of the Control Center to activate it in the right side.
