Customizing the Gnome File Manager

The Gnome File Manager, which was covered in Chapter 5, “Working with the Gnome Desktop Environment,” is similar to Windows Explorer.

To customize the Gnome File Manager, click "Settings" on the menu bar and then choose "Preferences" (see Figure 6.10).

The File Display Tab
