Introduction to the Multifocused Family Genogram
In this chapter, we present the Multifocused Family Genogram (MFG) as a tool for conducting a comprehensive and systemic assessment of a client’s family system. After a review of limitations of genograms as they currently are used in clinical practice, the components and construction of the MFG are described.
