In chapter 2 we introduced you to AppFuse and created our sample issue tracking application. Now it’s time to begin creating the Flex frontend for our sample application. We’ll start by incrementally building up the view layer, introducing you to a few of the pertinent concepts of Flex. This chapter is not meant to be a comprehensive guide to the Flex framework by any stretch of the imagination, so you should be able to follow along without much trouble.
