The NTEE codes on the right are used by researchers, watchdog groups, and others as an alternative to the IRS codes that appear on the left. The alphabetic letters used in the NTEE code have the following meaning: A is for arts, culture, humanities. B is for education. C is for environmental quality, protection, beautification.
