Chapter 6. Charting
The ability to create charts of data is one of the most practical and useful features of FileMaker Pro. Although lists and subsummary reports are important in their own right, a chart can be much more effective at identifying and communicating trends and correlations in data. Charting was first introduced in FileMaker Pro 11, and it was substantially revised and improved in FileMaker Pro 12.
Having general experience with charting in spreadsheets and other applications is irrefutably helpful, but in many ways charting in FileMaker is unique and requires a reasonable understanding of database principles.
