I have had the privilege to work with some truly inspiring people over the last couple of years within the Femto Forum, who have broadened my exposure to the mobile world well beyond the specifics of femtocells. The FAP data model illustrated in Chapter 6 is based on pioneering work done by Taka Yoshizawa, Michel Renaldo and Ian MacPherson in the Femto Forum. Their work has contributed significantly in moving femtocells closer towards a true ‘plug and play’ technology.
