As someone on the precipice of old-white guy-hood, I never take myself too seriously and I like my business reading to be the same. I found this book to be a refreshing take on a leadership style we all need to embody to progress in a business world that is rapidly shifting. The poetry is an enjoyable palate cleanser between courses of hard-hitting facts and practical tips for “getting real”. It’s also a lighthearted “smack in the face” for those of us who strive to be inclusive while still challenging our employees to showcase their abilities and unique talents.
