Chapter 12. The Digital Dashboard
The previous chapter introduced the Web integration features in Outlook 2000, folder home pages, and Outlook Today. When combined with the two different ActiveX controls that are available, the Outlook Today data binding control and the Outlook View Control that comes with the Team Folder Kit, it becomes possible to create powerful Web views into your Outlook information. This Web view has been dubbed the digital dashboard by Microsoft, a term that seems quite appropriate after you have interacted with a finished version of such a system.
