EVERY JOB IS A sales job. And every day before, during, and after work, the selling continues.
You sell your children on doing their homework and brushing their teeth. You sell your husband on picking up the dry cleaning. You sell your book club on reading the novel you chose. You sell the waiter at your favorite restaurant on bringing you a salad instead of french fries.
Life is one sale after another.
Every day of your life, you try to talk someone into something, ask for a favor, or state your case with the hope of changing someone’s mind.
These are sales—more specifically what I like to call “life sales.”
