Introduction to Symbolic Calculations
Abstract
You may be one of the many people who do not understand the power of using symbolic calculations. If so, by the end of this chapter you will have a new appreciation and understanding of the benefits of having this power tool in your PTC Mathcad toolbox. Symbolic calculations return algebraic results rather than numeric results. PTC Mathcad has a sophisticated symbolic processor that can solve very complex problems algebraically. The symbolic processor is different from the numeric processor.
