About the Authors

Patti Shank is the president of Learning Peaks, an internationally recognized instructional design consulting firm. She has worked on a wide range of corporate training, higher education, and professional development information and instruction projects. Patti was an award-winning contributing editor for Online Learning magazine, and edited Training Media Review’s Authoring Tools Report. She has authored, co-authored, or edited three online learning-related books, including Making Sense of Online Learning (with Amy Sitze, Pfeiffer, 2004), The Online Learning Idea Book (Pfeiffer, 2007), and the E-Learning Handbook (with Saul Carliner, Pfeiffer, 2008).
