DATA QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
In Chapters 4, 6, and 9, we discussed creating a map of the information processing environment, determining the costs associated with low data quality, and measuring the levels of data quality. We looked at the hierarchy of associated roles within the organization, as well as the roles that are played by different system operators and components. Through the process of defining a data quality policy, hopefully we will have assigned the responsibility associated with those roles to individuals with the authority to manage data quality.
