Chapter 7. ACTIVITIES FOR PHASE 3: Visual Learners
In this chapter, we present twenty-five online activities for Phase 3 (Display) of the Read, Reflect, Display, and Do (R2D2) model. Some of these suggestions are more suited to younger learners; others are geared toward more mature adults. While visual learning is highlighted, many of these ideas could just as easily apply to one of the other phases of the R2D2 model. As will become apparent, at least a dozen of these can be employed in face-to-face (FTF) or traditional classroom environments as well as in blended or fully online settings.
