We have begun our journey. So far we understand where we are now and where we want to be in the future. Now we have to understand how to get there. To begin we need some capital. Nothing will happen without the initial investment that on most occasions comes from our own resources. We may have some help, formally or informally, from family and friends; but wherever its source, it will usually be in the form of equity as opposed to debt.
Later when we need more capital to fund the acquisition of resources necessary to expand our markets or increase the products or services we supply or simply to cover the increasing operating requirements as our business grows, we can cast our net wider in search of the necessary ...
