Handling rejection

Perhaps the most powerful force in shaping human behaviour is the fear of rejection. The fear of ‘No’, ‘Go away’, ‘Who do you think you are?’ or something a lot less amiable – the fear of being snubbed. We all experience this in one way or another and it hurts so much because we all have the need to belong. This is perhaps one of the core fundamental needs that make us human and enable us to live in society.

Often this fear of rejection prevents us from networking. If we learn to control and manage this fear then we can network more effectively and successfully.
