Alexis H. Bateman is Director of the MIT Responsible Supply Chain Lab and a Research Associate at MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. She has been examining sustainable supply chains for over 10 years with a recent focus on apparel. She received her PhD from the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine in Environmental Planning and Management and her Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
