CHAPTER 8 Full-Colour Drawing
Blenheim Palace is a country house in Oxfordshire. It is one of England’s largest houses and was built between 1705 and 1722. It is designed in the English baroque style and is the home of the Duke of Marlborough.
I am fortunate to live not too far from this stunning building and have drawn it many times, which is why I thought it would make a great project for you to work on too.
I chose this reference photo because there are some nice shadows to work with and the photo captures the symmetrical elements of the building perfectly.
