After you have made this decision, it’s time to sit down and think through the logistics of actually starting a small business. For many photographers at the beginning of their careers, the thought of quitting their full-time jobs and going into business for themselves is more than a little nerve-racking!
The good news is that you don’t have to quit a full-time job to get the process started. You can do a lot to get started as a photographer while still having the security of a stable job. Then when you’ve gotten your business established, you can figure out when you’re ready to go into wedding photography full time.
