Product managers and their teams need to do a great many things to create and improve a successful product. However, if I were asked to pick one of those things as more important than any of the others, it would be the ability to solve a problem for your customers. If you haven’t built something that meets a real customer need, all the slick user experience (UX) design and marketing in the world won’t make it successful.
