Brief History of Oil Painting
Oil painting is perhaps the most revered of all classic painting techniques. Museums are full of oil paintings that have survived many centuries. Paintings of this type can endure “cleanings” by restoration experts, as the need arises. The same cannot be said for pastels or watercolors.
