Make your images more dynamic by adding a sense of motion

Although software packages like Maya include shutter speed as part of the camera settings, for the most part, unless you are creating an animation, this doesn't have the effect on the image that shutter speed does in photography. For a start, the image is completely static, no matter where you put the camera or what settings you use.
