Building the Military Machine
Gianpietro Fabre explains how he came up with the design for a military APC vehicle.
DESIGN INFLUENCES
The idea came about when a friend and colleague asked me to model a high resolution model of the Combine APC from Half Life 2 to be used in a short film he wanted to shoot. Since it was supposed to be a live action, the vehicle had to look realistic and be believable as a real asset. It also needed to have very high details, as it was going to be used for close shots as well.
