D.1.1 Effect of Filtering an Image
Study the effects of filtering an intensity image through different filters. Read an intensity image, e.g., Barbara image. This image has some fine structures and so the effect of filtering will be clear. Design low-pass and high-pass filters of suitable size and filter the image through them and display the filtered images. You can design either 1-D filters or true 2-D filters for this project.
