The Closing Circle

At the close of a network meeting, we sit in a circle, and our discussion leader might say,

To finish our meeting, we will pass this microphone around. You are invited to share whatever is on your mind. But it’s voluntary. The only requests I make are, first, if you speak, you must have something to say; second, please say it clearly and with directness; and third, if you are listening, please do so with intention and care. This is the closing circle.

I invite you to join a virtual circle now. Already here, besides myself, are some other people whose ideas have stimulated me. We have been discussing the future of organizations.
